Route optimisation puts a rider's delivery stops in the order that covers the least distance. TifTif plans each rider's round for a date and meal starting from your kitchen, using a nearest-neighbour start improved with 2-opt swaps. In a scattered six-stop test, it cut the round from 32.0 km to 19.8 km.

How the planning works

A good first guess, then fix the crossings

The planner starts from your kitchen and always goes to the nearest remaining stop. That gives a sensible round quickly, but it can leave the rider crossing their own path.

It then tries swapping sections of the round around (the "2-opt" method) and keeps any swap that makes the round shorter, until no swap helps. The result removes the back-and-forth that makes hand-planned rounds long.
